I think it all depends on what you want in a car.

If you want a nice, fun, daily driver then there is not a comparison. 135i wins hands down over the Pontiac. If you want something you can use as a track whore then I think that the Pontiac might win with the pricing you can get on them. For me spending the $35,000 for the 135i is a bit much for a car that I am going to turn into a track car. The base GXP $29,000 is much easier on the pocket book at least for me:iono:

Truth be told though, if it was a track car I wanted I would not go for the Pontiac but instead opt for the S2000. I am biased here but for fun factor, track ability, fun factor, and priced under $35,000 new the S2000 wins hands down IMO.
