I've done the Nürburgring on GT5 and in real life, and I have to say, while you might be able to learn your way around the track in the game, GT5 is unable to simulate the feel you get throwing the car into corners, or the rapid change in elevations that the track has. You're not going to feel the bumps, angles, drops or inclines in that game. Not to mention, the ever lingering feeling that you have knowing that if you crash your car, there's no reset button.

The game can only show you so much. To get the true feeling of driving on a race track, you have to do it for real.
