I have nothing against cosmetic mods, as long as they aren't to the detriment of performance. When my associates say "you should get 18's or 19's" I patiently explain some basic physics with the example of ice skaters. Arms out = spin slow, same mass arms in = spin fast. Their only response: "But it sure looks sick".

My only concern with going to the 225 on the 7 inch rim is potential loss of subjective response (since I have no real way of measuring it). I'll look up JimD's post and give it a read
