There are no public roads in the US without speed limits now (75mph max). Any state that tries to go their own way is quickly deprived of Federal Highway funds - sad state of affairs.
Other than Germany, the Isle of Man in the UK has no limits and some parts of Australia too (not sure if that's still the current situation there).
