Actually, the last time I drove Rt. 50 across Nevada, I saw little law enforcement - but the road surface was a bit dicey for anything much over 90.

Not to mention all the damn deer! I drove my RV across Montana at night and I was terrified I was going to hit a deer. I saw over 50 carcusses on the side of the road that night. I was only doing my top speed of 60MPH and was paying close attention. I'm not sure I'd try a top speed run there. A deer at that speed could total a 135.
