I wrap both pipes with thermal wrap and tiny inox and all that fixed with clamps and i don't notice much difference on my n54+golf tea mod also... but next week i remove sedondary cats and now sound is perversion especially above 3000rmp, while deacleration you can hear pops and gurgles from exhaust too
