Furthermore, I am annoyed to see a "shut up or get out" response to what was a very valid remark in that thread. If a company is concerned of negative comments impacting sales, either don't carry a product at such an absurd price or provide valid reasoning for why the price is not absurd (which is what he tried to do.)
By asking you to take negative comments elsewhere, he sounds like he is unable to defend his product against the accusations presented. I have (and still have) great respect for that vendor, which makes me even more sad to see that comment.
