Cloth seats are nicer in the summer, nicer in the winter and hold up better. Then again, I chose cloth over leather for my sofa too. It may just be personal preference, but I would not be surprised if the "luxury" appeal of leather isn't rooted in the $1450 option the dealers have taught us we have to have.

Eh, I am not so hot for cloth. It picks up stains and smells easier, plus it sometimes is not as comfortable to me. And, on a purely tactile level, cloth just feels cheaper than leather to me.
