The alarm is 1hour labour.
But there were issues:
car did not recognize the siren from e82( the black hockey puck cylinder thing in the wheel well)
the car was demanding an e9x siren
This can be over written, if this happens to you demand they put in a PUMA case and seek the master tech's help in BMW USA offices
I didnt know better and just had no time with university exams/job interviews and bought the e9x siren and have an e82 siren left over.
Also not being in the USA, the kit was not under warranty so had no choice.
total cost was 1 hour + e9x siren + 0.3hour labour to swap siren
If you wish you can piece together the kit( the bolts/brackets, interior roof module, siren).
I will sell you the siren to complete it. Overall, could be cheaper than the kit,if you find the module for fair price
