I think it looks horrible when someone retrofits 1 part from another model car (especially one with a more aggressive overall look to it) and expects it to flow well with the rest of the car. And this isn't me trying to protect the rarity of my 1M; when I owned my E46 non-M, I specifically went with the OEM M-tech 2 kit because I thought just slapping an M3 replica or M3 CSL bumper, like so many others did, looked silly.
