So people use an extra CDV with the jet/venturi knocked out so a dealer can not tell from outside that the CDV has been messed with.
There is no real down side to this mod. Only thing I can think of is IF you don't bleed the clutch properly or have the proer tools... can the CDV be a bear of a job. MAKE SURE you have a pressure bleeder if you are going to do this mod yourself. Or have a good indi shop or dealer do it for you.
Hands down this is one MUST HAVE mod to have on any BMW manual trans car.
