BMW could keep the existing 135i Coupe in production until 2012 without any problem, if it sells well. They did that with the E36 M3 Coupe in 1999, when the sedan was changed to the E46 chassis.
So as long as we're speculating  , it is possible for the 135i to be in production for almost 5 years. Not too shabby... |
And ragtops generally follow the Coupes by a year, so those of us waiting til fall '08 for the ragtop should be good til 2013..
