Bluetooth Operation on New Phone
Recently got a Samsung Stratosphere Android phone which rarely loads the phone book to the Head Unit and even sometimes falls off its Bluetooth connection to the car. (It will always resynch to the car but it takes 3-4 resynchs to load the phonebook too. Then its synch & phonebook is dropped by the car sometime later.) My guess is that its a brand new phone trying to operate with the bluetooth info available at the time of the car's manufacture (11/2010).
Does BMW make Bluetooth updates available to owners of new phones? If so how often? Does it require a dealership visit?
