RE71R's are very sticky for what they are (non R-compound). They are very comparable to Nittos in terms of grip. The Nittos last longer and are much better suited to longer track sessions then the Bridgestones. So it depends what you're looking for.

Hawkeye is right though, the Nittos are quite expensive compared to the Bridgestones, but they have their advantages over them also.
