jkoral hit it on the head - the OEM glass is not the same as OE. Do whatever you have to in order to get the OE replacement authorized, my window was cracked a while back and they put a non-BMW OEM replacement in, like jkoral said it's not the same tint as well. A few months later the windshield cracked due to stress since it's not a perfect fit and was flexing. Now I have to go through the process all over again.
