I bought mine through a corporate programme, the "discount" is typically reduced dealer delivery, and some minimal sticker reduction, which will be buried in "Included in price" references in your invoice.

Would I prefer the cache' of the 135i, sure. Is it worth the extra money when 99% of the time you cannot access the extra power, probably not. Changing the inlet manifold to that of the 130i opens up another 35KW from what I have read, for about $1400, which will help, although loving it as is. 1100kms on the clock, still tight and driving easy.

I have $15k to play, which I am subconsciously saving for an extra family wagon (X1?), and to allow for an upgrade to the Z4coupe or 335i. Not the time to be splashing out on cars lads....... kill the mortgage first.... cash is king
