I have been very happy with the 71R in 255F / 275R. On the street, they are sticky as hell from the moment I leave the driveway. They are very predictable and easy to control at the limit. I have only done 1 track day on them so far which was cold and wet, but still set better times than same track last year when it was sunny and warm on the RE-11's. Granted I also changed the FSB and added gobs of negative camber in front, so not comparing apples to apples.

I agree with the noise, but it is not as bad as my RE11's were near the end of their life. We'll see how it goes as they wear. I am not too concerned about treadwear since I only put about 8000 miles per year on the car.

I have an autocross next weekend. I'll let you know how that goes. That will be a real test with timing and pax adjustments. Granted, it will also be my first autocross following the suspension changes, so I am expecting better times, but not all due to the tires.
