What I'm saying is that BMW is denying Parker's warranty claim based on the fact that he installed an aftermarket charge pipe. They claim the cylinder failure was caused by him dropping a screw or something which entered the cylinder...interesting read but a warning to all of us modders. That's why I haven't done any major mods, all surface mods so to speak.

Is BMW's claim bullshit as MDORPHN says? Don't know but don't want to find out..

Really sorry, Dan. Of course, complete bs. Even if bolt dropped in intake, there's no way a bolt could travel through the turbos and intercooler and then through the intake manifold and head into cyl. 6!
