Best thing to do is ask your dealer what they used. Maybe ask to see an oil bottle and read the label. IF it says LL-1 or Long Life 1, you are fine. If it doesn't have a BMW LL-1 rating I would change your oil again and use the correct oil. Just because a dealer shanged your oil doesn't mean they are using the correct oil. Its just the oil THEY want to sell and make money off of. Each dealer is independent of BMW NA and BMW AG.
