UPDATE:
I am still milling around about a "minor upgrade" Pretty much I miss the leather sport seats, xenon lights, and logic seven of the original E90.
Current ride is a plain jane model year 2010 with navigation & about 18,000 miles. The inservice date is April 2010. I have added:

BMW Alpine audio upgrade
Coding to replace tire pressure sensors & traffic updates.
