27-year-old Joe Omboni, a Dobbs Ferry firefighter, passed away on Sunday in a motorcycle accident on the Taconic State Parkway. We will be gathering to celebrate his life and pay tribute. He had a strong love for both the automotive and bike community.
Omboni Jr., a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, attended Pace University in Pleasantville for a year. He joined the Dobbs Ferry Fire Department about seven years ago and was a member of Livingston Hose Company. He was also the owner of Dobbs Ferry Automotive at 241 Broadway, adjacent to an auto body shop owned by his father.
This will be a special event. Please bring the correct attitude as this will be a celebration of life for a very special person in our community. Joe loved bikes and cars, so we will gather some of the finest automobiles and bikes in his memory.
WRECKLESS DRIVING, DRIFTING, BURNOUTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. PLEASE COME WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE AS HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY ALONG WITH THE DOBBS FERRY FIRE DEPT WILL BE THERE.
