Actually, it could make sense what you jokingly commented: it ain't excluded that the 1M was sitting a little lower in the fenders during development (no contact
tire versus fender line due to compliant indent height), but suspension was fine-tuned a little higher in the final stages of the 1M development (more ground clearance). Fast development, as we all know. Consequence: rubbing due to a lower sitting
"contact zone" (
"indent zone" located a little too high) = compliance issue.
