I filled the bin with all i found ... foam, cloths and i had also some success. Its much better now. I think with a good noise protection mat it will improve.
@1M Fan: I think your right...its not only the battery bin...the whole trunk is amplifiying. I will also put some anti drone mat arround the battery bin.
