Yep, I hear you. I had parked on the street with very reasonable gaps for others, yet some idiot in a modded, piece of shit Celica tried and failed to squeeze himself into a spot in front of me and bumped into my 135, and bent my 1-week-old number plates. Thankfully that's all they did, but it was enough to really go out of my way to avoid street parking wherever possible. "Parking by touch" seems all too common.
