The 128i shouldn't be that much for a headache out of warranty, right? Just look at how many high-miler BMWs drive around in Europe. If a car is properly maintained and you haven't had any major issues so far, I say keep it.
Perhaps get an extended warranty if you really want complete peace of mind.
