I've noticed the same noise. It's more of a "tick" actually. It ticks with every revolution of the tire/wheel when I have the steering wheel at the lock in a left hand turn (parking, etc.)
It's definitely coming from the front right of the car.
I have a service appointment soon so I'll have them look at it. If something is rubbing, there's got to be a witness mark.
