No one said that about this lip. I believe I had read a post asking about double side tape that would hold at 150+ MPH but that was unrelated to this lip, I cant recall where I read that post.
EinserM has had his car at high speed with no issues and he has 1 line of double side tape. I cant comment what brand of tape or how high the speeds are as I do not know.
I myself finished installing it yesterday. I used 2 lines of 3M tape and I have only tested it up to 100MPH so far.
Incidentally here is a pic of gloss versus matte CF for those that had asked. I will have more pics soon and will get one head on for you if Einser doesnt already have them.
