Why do you guys believe any hp number that BMW says? I mean come on now. You have a 36XX M3 blasting to 60mph in 4.2seconds and quarter in 12.5. There is more to these cars than pure hp numbers(gearing, weight, tech). I mean just look at how much damage that 265hp Audi TT-S did at the VIR Lightning lap challenge in the latest CarandD.

This car will haul ass. Dont forget that the M3 is rumored to get somewhat of a power bump as well.

I guess I should be prepared to hear "its not worth it" a thousand times. To each his own. Yes we can buy software and suspensions, etc. It's still not going to be an //M car. That's not to say you wont enjoy what you've slapped together. Priced from the high 40's and it will be a hit. It will also be the very first legitimate "M" for the 1 series.

I'm a numbers guy. I dont like doing things that destroy warranties on $40,000+ cars. I'd feel better doing it to a much cheaper car.

BRING THIS ON BMW!!
