Should I choose an E92 or E93 Front Sway Bar?
It's a frequently asked question and bigger doesn't always mean better so after discussing with Pete from Advan, my personal opinion is that:
E92 M3 FSB in a 1-Series: probably better balanced than the E93 one... recommended if your suspension setup is relatively mild, perhaps stock Msport suspension, springs or coilovers at the most. Great street setup, twisty roads and for those who track occasionally
E92 M3 FSB in a 3-Series: great for a stock setup or someone with a mild suspension setup
E93 M3 FSB in a 1-Series: For those wanting a really tight ride and with other supporting suspension mods. Coilovers a minimum and ideally some neg camber, and you're looking to set really good lap times [in the dry] realising that the car in the wet will be more under-steery than other setups
E93 M3 FSB in a 3-Series: Complements a good set of coilovers really well, ideal for the occasional track visit without losing too much balance.
