If it's the vacuum line, you'll probably end up getting a check engine light. The vacuum system in a car is a shared circuit, which means all systems draw from the same vacuum source. If one vacuum line falls off, the rest will suffer from low vacuum levels.

Did you identify the actuator? Is there anything attached to it?
