I love the car- I think it's an upgrade performance wise over the 335i of course and the M3 (which I think is way overpriced glorified 3 series, I don't get the hype). I've seen Cobras put 9's down at the track w/the correct setup, have yet to personally see a gt500 do it.

Yes, the GT500... 2011 and 2012 models are lighter than previous years due to a switch to an aluminum block and a revised suspension, by about 100lbs. There is a video on youtube of a Ford Engineer massaging one around VIR in a time very close to previous Z06's...
