I totally understand, I'm sure it was a tough decision for you. I had a similar issue when the e30 M3 came out. I test drove a new Alpine White M3, drove home picked up my wife who was pregnant with our first child and we had just moved into our 1st house a couple of months prior.
We drove the car up a couple of canyon roads with both of us grinning ear to ear just loving the car, what an amazing car it was. Then reality set in as we returned the car to the dealer and we drove our old car back to our house.
Life's priorities can sometimes be tough, it will all work out for the best.
