Now the serious answer: There was a M division web site that you should get registered in first, there it was possible to follow development news, photos and videos for the 1M, kind of an internet (and long) teaser and then wait for the lottery win. Just that. BMW should have a kind of criteria in their mind, that's for sure. Membership in local/national BMW web forums, car clubs, owning various BMWs come to mind as some possibilities.
