I am in a bit of a similar situation...

I daily drive my 135 and generally depend on it full time. I'm ordering a set of wheels in the next week or two and plan to use my stock RFTs until they are worn out. At that point, I will be switching to a non-RFT tire for several reasons: performance, noise, ride comfort, cost.

I have a cell phone, bmw sos, and I plan to carry a can of "fix-a-flat" that I'll use if I'm really in a bind.

I've driven a lot of miles in the past 10 years and have yet to experience a flat. *knock on wood*
