I agree that the price of ppk is a bit ridiculous for the gains you get. In terms of aftermarket tunes, there is always risk associated, but as long as you are diligent about removing them before bringing the car in its not a large one imo. Unless you are having a significant piece of wareanty work being done, the dealership is not going to go digging through your car to find a tune. It boils down to how much risk you are willing to assume, i went with cobb ap and havent had any issues, the flip side of this coin is that if something really serious happens, it likely wont get covered under warranty. Between giac, cobb, procede, jb, etc there are alot of great options out there.
