And BMW will have auto start/stop in the next 3 series, WITH this engine.
If you need to get out of the way quickly, I recommend to never use that function.
If you know that you will be stopped for longer than a minute and you just have to save a few pennies, you can simply shut the engine off with this little gadget known as the "start/stop" button.
I guess car makers think that that is too complicated of an idea, so they invent auto stop/start.
Yeah! I'm saved. Well, until I need to get out of the way quickly from the big a$$ truck who apparently doesn't see I'm stopped, and my engine decides it needs a long crank session.
BOOM!
