My Story

Ok... I feel kinda contradictory to my self recently. I think it's time, in Afghanistan I had plenty of it to get on here every day and now that I'm back home and have my car I felt like I neglected the site for the longest time.

So here's my story from beginning to end.

It all started June 19th 2011 my first email sent to the BMW military sales rep that I ended up working with the entire year to get my 2012 135i. From there I paid $2000 a month to get the vehicle just over the halfway mark. I spent from June to November locking in all my choices for colors and packages. and about November/ December the order went in, and the wait officially began.

Fast forward 6 months and on May 18th I got word that it was here and time for me to go get it. I was so excited.

By the time I picked up my car I already had my first Mod in hand, it was very inexpensive and look 100 times better IMO. They were the BMS 4 LED white angle eyes. I made sure to put them on properly making sure the the caps got put back on tightly and properly ensuring that there would be no moisture getting into the headlights themselves.

Started leave on the 8th of June and made my way down here to Tucson AZ, 800 miles and 12 hrs of straight driving. Got the car over the 1200 mile break in period and immediately found out that this car doesn't like the heat with all the leather. So I got it tinted of course.

And today, the piaste resistance, my new friend Leon of Leon's exhaust custom built a Axle Back Muffler Delete system for me. Beautiful workmanship and overall a great sound. And for $130 you just cant beat that. I took pictures of most of the process.

the old muffler out and hacked up.

So as for now that is where I stand on the 22nd I plan on going to the strip to log some 1/4mile times, and I still have some more things to do to my car wheels and such. More pics will come along with some videos of me out at the strip. I hope you like, I know I do, I cant get enough of this thing.
