ASAP, it does help with the side to side flex, but I also have the M3 subframe bushings, and those were a bigger improvement. I'd upgrade the subframe bushings first.

As far as pressing them in, I just bought a set of used arms off e-bay, and took those and the new bushings to a local BMW race shop, and they pressed the rubber bushings out, and the new ones in.
