It seems the button location varies some but will be on the back or right side, potentially under a cover over the light.

Because of the need to use a ladder to reach this button, I have found it handy in the past to have two people.

This is a link to the homelink video. I think the last minute and a half are worth watching (first minute is a commercial). The last bit is the same process described above in this thread. There is a chance you can program the homelink off a remote for the opener, however, that is about a minute into the video and may be worth trying first.
