I am retired Army working in Stuttgart as a DoD Civilian. There are some other guys here that are Air Force and some Army. On modded cars, I have heard that inspections for US cars is done by the inspectors off base and if you cave any catless stuff, it would be a good thing to install your stock Dps and mids just for inspection purposes.
Here in Stuttgart, we get inspected on base somewhat similar to the off base inspectors but we don't get tested for emissions. I think you guys do.
