The rear seats are functional for anyone under 6' or so, that's the most praise I can give them. Though you are right, some cars are truly laughable how small the rear seats are. This is another level of sports car, but my grandfather's 996 TT literally had leather inserts for back seats, if I recall you could remove them. Imagine two hard leather pallets and you're in the ballpark
