German Castro 0-30 in the last 2 cars. UOA's look good at 10-12k.km's(6-7k.miles). Thin for start-up with reportedly somewhat higher than 30 weight when hot. A true synthetic as opposed to the majority of "synthetics" that are really enhanced Group 3 oils as opposed to Group4 & 5 (the Germans are pretty strict about their advertising). That said we (me too) probably over obsess about brands. Recent testing by Blackstone Labs. on a Cooper S motor showed very little difference in wear metals between brands, whether synthetic or not. Their conclusion- the best oil= clean oil.
