The plot thickens...
Saw the guy at the panel shop again the other day. He showed me another 1 series coupe without the lens over the map lights (before they'd done any work to the car). The car he'd originally shown me was a 1 series hatch, so believes that something must have changed between the two models. The images on the web seem to show some with and some without.
So,
...I guess that means they were never there? ...unless someone can tell me otherwise?
