If your car has over 30K miles I highly recommend you look into it.

In other instances it can also possibly be caused by fouled spark plugs as well.
thanks buddy, BMW pulled the plugs and advised that burn was good. Car has 35K kms so not many, but maybe the short drives add to a rapid build up, may look into this.
