Think of it this way... My friend bought a 330 last year. He ended up spening over $6500 more than me for basically the same car (E46 330 = E90 325). He is still kicking himself for not waiting like I did. Granted, he has been able to log in over a year of bahn-burnin time.
I am still glad I held out.
