Wow, that must of been a huge puddle... but glad to hear you lived to learn from it. Maybe someone could chime in on this... but when you hydroplane, is it best to gas it a little to get through the slide? or to just ease off the gas and brake till the tires catch again?

I've hydroplaned in a FWD car before, and since all the power is in the front, it's pretty easy to pull out of a slide. But what's the best practice in a RWD car.?
