Any BMW manual knob will work on any BMW shift lever from the early 80s up. In order to switch to a different knob but keep the stock boot, you need to disconnect the two. See my post in the DIY section. You may need to do some minor work in order to make it work. If you switch to the Performance Boot, it will work with the ZHP knob perfectly.
