I was looking at HP Autowerks new foam filter for the N55 and wondered if any other companies had released a drop-in filter for the N55. I called up Alan************ and asked him if he knew of any other brands. To my liking, he told me that aFe had JUST released their N55 filters: oiled and dry. I raced over to **********s to pick up the new dry filter. Surprisingly, the people from aFe were there today and helped me install the filter! Talk about service! Haha. Anyway, I haven't looked at the gains yet, but my seat dyno feels that the throttle is a little more responsive. I'm going to dyno test the new filter on Thursday so keep checking back with this thread.
