I did a few laps with it completely on, then a few laps with one click of the dtc button and spent the rest of my time with it completely off. its actually harder to control the car with the dtc on at all imho. i did a full hpde track day and got a better feel for what the car is going to do with the traction control completely off. Just take it easy with the gas with it off and you will be fine, be smooth with your transitions from brake to gas, be smooth with your steering, turn in once, turn out once, and progressively get faster. The tail is actually pretty hard to slide out if you're lines are good and you're smooth.
