I do by hand.

1. Clay
2. Polish
3. Seal

No wax needed if using a sealant. It replaces the wax.

I do the sealant over the Winter because I only wash the car during those months.
The sealant is made to last... longer than wax.

An oribital buffer would be a good investment. Makes the job quicker and easier. I just have not bought one yet.
